:

The Mortgage Loan Outreach Officer will be responsible for reaching out to potential borrowers, building relationships with community partners, and promoting mortgage loan products offered by Community Choice. This role focuses on expanding the credit union's mortgage lending portfolio through outreach efforts and collaboration with various stakeholders.

What You will Be Responsible For:

• Member Service: Interview members via outbound call efforts to develop relationships, gather information and identify mortgage opportunities and offer appropriate products and services. Address member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

• Lead Generation: Cultivate strong relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other stakeholders in the housing industry. Participate in community outreach to promote the credit union's mortgage services. Utilize various channels, including phone calls and emails to connect with prospective borrowers.

• Loan Origination: Review and evaluate information on mortgage loan documents to determine if buyer, property, and loan conditions meet credit union and regulatory standards. Provide loan approval or denial to loan applicants or request additional information. Establish terms and conditions of an approved loan and review with members. Identify cross sell opportunities and offers appropriate products and services.

• Compliance: Stay up to date with federal, state, and local regulations related to mortgage lending. Ensure all loan origination activities comply with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.

• Onsite Full-Time Position (Base + Commission)
• Johnston, IA Location

Who We are Looking For:

• 2+ years' experience working in a call center with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations
• Proficient in outreach and relationship management tools.
• Must possess an active and valid NMLS license.
• A high school education or GED.
